Hey girls and ladies!
Hope you are having a great week. I’m in ABQ New Mexico at the National Worship Leader Conference. It’s been a great time, and I’ve been spreading the word about the Women In Worship Network while I’m here. Hopefully we’ll get some new members of the WIWN as a resut of the ABQ conference hearing about this site!
The pastor of the church hosting this event in ABQ owns a Harley, so he let me check it out! Here is the photo evidence! He and several of his other pastors on staff love riding motocycles, and go on long trips together. When he pulled up on the bike it made me smile as not many senior pastors of churches ride big motocycles! It got me thinking about the need for us to be who God has made us to be, and enjoy it!
So… be encouraged today to BE YOURSELF! Don’t try to fit a mould of who you THINK you should be. Don’t try to copy other people. God made you unique, and He longs for each of us to be ourselves!
As women who are involved in worship ministry, the temptation can be to look at other worship leaders and want to copy them… Don’t! Just be you. There is a unique way you will lead that is different to anyone else… So sing, write, play and lead in the way YOU were meant to!
Hope that is an encouraging word for you today… it has been for me!

Can I ask what church you were at? I know of a church in ABQ where several of the pastors ride motorcycles called Sagebrush Community Church. Just curious to see if that was the same one you were at!
