There are so many things to be thankful for in our daily lives from just waking up to the gifts we receive.
I have struggled with being grateful on a daily basis for a long time, but decided that once and for all I was going to simply be grateful every day.
When I started this process about a month ago it was tough to get up every morning before everyone else to take time to be grateful.
But from the first day I took time out to be grateful I have felt so much better about everything in my life.
I feel more open, more loving, and just better about all the things in my life.
I am so much more grateful when something or someone is sent into my life.
Anyway, here’s what I have been doing daily.
First, I wake up before anyone else, so I have peace and quiet. I usually get up at 5:30
Next I do some sort of exercise for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Then for 20 solid minutes I write out all the thing that I am grateful for.
I am grateful for any that comes to mind. From the calmness of my morning to the weather and everything in between!
It is so simple and it has been an amazing way to get my day going.
